Now known as JTR Rigging, following the retirement of the founder of Jerry The Rigger, the business offers a trusted and competitive service, working with leading brands such as Seldon, Stalok, SparCraft, KOS wire and Z-Spars.

Taking the helm of the business are Gordon Durrant and Ross Goodwin. Gordon Durrant has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry, working for a number of well-known rigging companies across the south, whilst Ross Goodwin also has hands-on experience at prestigious local rigging companies, having originally worked his apprenticeship with Jerry the Rigger in the early 2000s.

The duo see their business outlook as bright. “If anything, the travel restrictions imposed by the recent Covid pandemic have reinforced interest and activity in yachting in and around the UK, and particularly the Solent,” says Gordon.

“We’ve seen an uptick both in enquiries and new customers, ranging from people wanting a simple rig check through to complete system upgrades” adds Gordon.

“Our combined experience means there isn’t much we haven’t seen before, plus we have the service edge that a smaller business can always offer
